Digital Producer/Project Manager

The Digital Producer/Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of our digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate has an understanding of digital and online marketing, understands the needs of a client in the digital arena, and can clearly articulate the requirements and expectations from our Director of Digital Strategy to the creative, technical, and account executive teams. He/she coordinates the creative concept, the internal design, and the technical development of new media advertising products. This will include websites, iOS & Android applications, eBooks, iBooks and rich media/banner ads.  The Digital Project Manager/Producer should also be able to develop innovative concepts and online marketing strategies. The ideal candidate would have experience in project managing at a major ad or digital agency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production from start to finish, which includes defining project requirements, production scheduling, trafficking creative assets, obtaining approvals and any related factors that affect project success
  • Coordinate with various internal departments including editorial, development, design and production to activate all elements of digital campaigns
  • Serve as primary interface and relationship manager between third-party content producers and vendors, including freelancers
  • Gather requirements to develop detailed project plans and then manage ongoing project timelines
  • Facilitate project meetings both internal and external
  • Track project deliverable – monitor and maintain internal and external milestones
  • Communication of project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively assist the business to identify upcoming conflicts and resource gaps
  • Be the liaison with clients on project planning and management, when necessary
  • Review of all project deliverables for quality and accuracy
  • Bring an array of original ideas and concepts to the digital team in order to help create new content that is innovative and compelling in the entertainment industry
  • Respond to agency RFPs by participating in brainstorm meetings, contributing creative suggestions, and developing comprehensive marketing outlines and PowerPoint presentations
  • Create SOWs

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Past experience within Communications or Media and Entertainment (specifically Digital Media) industry experience
  • Structured project management experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with individuals and groups, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of the production process of websites, iOS apps, Android apps, Flash banner ads, rich media ads, eBooks and iBooks
  • Extraordinary digital proficiency with respect to current technology and trends
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Omni Plan
